Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use this website or order from Mean Baits. They are subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA), and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Supplier: Mean Baits, sales@meanbaits.co.za, (+27) 82 452 3158.

1. Prices

Prices are in South African Rand. Prices can change at any time; the price confirmed by our sales representative when you order is the price you pay. Delivery is charged separately, based on the weight of your order.

2. Orders

Orders are placed via WhatsApp, phone or email (and, once live, our online shop). An order is accepted when we confirm it. Stock of some items is limited; if an item is unavailable we will offer an alternative or a refund.

3. Custom bait

We make custom bait to order. Custom orders are made specifically for you and cannot be returned unless defective.

4. Payment

Payment options are confirmed when you order on WhatsApp. Online card payments (when the shop is live) are processed securely by PayFast.

6. Returns & refunds

Under the CPA you may return defective goods within 6 months for a repair, replacement or refund. Because bait is perishable, please check your order on receipt and contact us as soon as possible if anything is wrong. Online purchases (when the shop is live) may be cancelled within 7 days of delivery as ECTA allows, except for perishable or custom-made goods. Return shipping costs for non-defective items are for your account.

7. Use of the website

Content, photos and the Mean Baits name and logo belong to Mean Baits and may not be copied without permission. We aim for accuracy but are not liable for typos or errors in prices or descriptions.

8. Catch photos

By sending us photos you confirm they are yours and allow us to publish them on our website and Facebook page with credit. Ask us anytime to remove them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
